Just found out they're rebooting the naked gun with Ed Helms to star. Not a fan of that cast and don't know what they can really do with a reboot. Hopefully it actually turns out good though.

That's how I feel too. Unless the reviews praise it I'll likely ignore it and rewatch the old ones instead.

I don't think it's going to be the same without Leslie Nielson, hopefully Ed will try and get it on par, he done well in The Office

Ed Helms is a solid comedy actor but Leslie Nielson was just perfect as Drebin and had a very distinct personality that suited the cheesy humour.

regardless of the situation Nielson played it straight. that was the funniest part.
